8 John Silk Sherrard arrived in South Australia in September of 1853 aboard the 'Hannah Maria". He lived there for eighteen months, before moving to Victoria, Australia. Hannah Elizabeth Sherrard with children Hannah Elizabeth and John Silk Sherrard Jr. arrived in Victoria aboard the "Hope" in July 1855. John Sherrard was a Printer and the family were living for a number of years in Collingwood Victoria.
