It’s unclear if this is the son of John Humphrey Jones. According to Elmwood Cemetery records he is the son of Humphrey Jones of Westmorland County, NB and Isabella Johnson, and his father lived from 1844-18793 which fits pretty well with the known dates on John Humphrey Jones from the Jones family bible.18 Furthermore he named his daughter Annie Adelia which seems to tie him into the family since that was the name of John Humphrey’s sister.
