Notes for Harvey N. Trites
One unverified internet comment listed a Harvey as a son of Allen T. Trites. We know Allen Trites died in 1879, and Harvey is listed as age 14, living with the Mills family in the 1881 census which would fit with him being an orphan.9 Perhaps the 1871 census could verify his parentage.
