There is a listing of “Matheas Lintz” amongst the passengers of the Lydia, under Captain James Abercombie, arriving in Philadelphia Sep 19/20, 1743 from Rotterdam by way of Cowes.113 This is likely him (although not proven), and the ship is the same that would carry his future son-in-law to Philadelphia six years later.
