“Wesleyan” which was a branch of the Church of England based on the teachings of the brothers John and Charles Wesley, ordained ministers of the Church of England in the 1700’s, and which formed the basis of Methodism. He was first christened in a Wesleyan chapel but later was rechristened along with four of his siblings in the Church of England in Probus in 1829.
