The birth order of Flora and her sister Ruby in the family is unclear. In the 1901 census she is listed as Flora M. and her birthdate is given as Aug 15, 1887. In that year her sisters Ruby and Beulah are listed with identical birthdates of July 25, 1890. Strangely, in the 1911 census she is listed as Floraella and her birthdate is given as Aug 1888; this time she has the same birthdate as Ruby, suggesting they were the twins while Beulah is still given the birthdate July 1890. Thus it is unclear whether Flora is older than her twin sisters Ruby and Beulah, or in fact Flora and Ruby are twins and Beulah is their younger sister.
